Friction, minutes per task
Minutes to complete each task today (Baseline) and with a streamlined hub (Program).
Provider intake
Office and hub work before the biosimilar Rx can be filled.
Patient enrollment
Patient work before the first biosimilar dose.
Switch variables & impact
How friction changes who switches, how fast, and who is lost.
Patients on the biosimilar over 12 months
Each month the payer contract prompts (1 − λ′) of the remaining gap to switch. λ′, S* and S₀ are shared with Share velocity on the Velocity page.
Friction-adjusted switching
cp = 0.5Mp/M½p ce = 0.5Me/M½e
vt = (1 − λ′) × cpce × remaining gap
lostt = (1 − λ′) × (1 − cpce) × d × remaining gap
M is total minutes across the tasks and M½ the minutes at which half of switches stall. Stalled switches default back to the brand, except the share d lost from therapy.
